Ten minute waits for a table at a restaurant: just fine. Thirty minute waits: Endurable. Fourty-Five minute waits: Your pushing it. But waiting for an hour and a half just to sit down? That's just ridiculous. Which was why Alliey Green had no idea why she was still waiting at the door of the Olive Garden, completely against her better judgement.
Earlier in the day, Alliey had decided that she wanted Italian food. She really didn't know what had brought that craving on; She just suddenly craved chicken parmigan or spaghetti and meatballs. She thought of calling ahead, which definitely would have been the responsible thing to do, but she figured that there really wouldn't be that long of a wait. She could wait for a half an hour if need be. So she got in her car and drove the half hour distance to the Olive Garden, and her jaw almost instantly dropped at the parking lot full of cars.
Alliey had just shrugged and parked, hoping the wait couldn't be longer then fourty five minutes. No restaurant was ever so crowded so people had to wait for longer then fourty five minutes. And she had driven all that way, there was no way she was going to drive all the way back home without eating the Italian food she craved. And so, even when she found out that the wait was considerably more then fourty-five minutes, she waited. And now, an hour and a half later, she was still waiting.
Why was this damn restaurant so popular? Why couldn't people love Red Lobster as much as they loved the Olive Garden? Why was Olive Garden the popular place for dates, and not some other damned restaurant? All these questions and more flooded through Alliey's head as she waited. It wouldn't be as boring if there was someone she knew here to talk with her. But there wasn't. It was her and only her standing there as she waited for a free table.

It was really boring, sitting at home all by yourself. And that's what Cole had to go through right now. He was sitting on his couch, watching TV but it wasn't really that interesting. There was a Documentary on, because that's all that was on really.. well that was good. Cole had liked it at first, but then it had just gotten boring, so he ignored it and looked around the Living Room, trying to think of something fun to do. Then his stomach growled at him, as if saying "Feed me dammit! Or I shall kill you!" So Cole obeyed, and he got his lazy ass off the couch, and he walked into the Kitchen. He looked around everywhere but there was no food! Cole groaned and he checked his wallet to see if he had any money. Lucky him he did. So he grabbed his Jacket as he was walking out of the door, and he got into his car, started it up, and drove into town.
He was craving Italian food, yes he was. So he decided Olive Garden would be a good place. So as he drove into the Parking Lot, he saw it was packed, and he groaned again. And he wondered why all these people were here when it was.. 4:00, going on 5:00, in the afternoon! Well probably same reason Cole was here.. they were hungry! So he parked somewhere, but it wasd difficult to find a good place. He got out, locked his car, and he walked up to the Restraunt. His hands in his pockets, he saw a long line, so he thought it would be atleast another.. hour or so until he was able to get a table. His stomach growled again and he knew it was hungry.. he sighed, and tilted his head, trying to ignore it.
As he was looking around the place, he recognized a head of bright orangish-red hair. He instantly knew it was his girlfriend, Alliey. He smiled brightly and made his way through the pack of people. He came up behind her, and just stood there, as if he were just another one of the many strangers that surrounded them. He tilted his head and looked at the ceiling, making himself scarce and unnoticable to Alliey, and he exhaled. He tried to hold back a laugh.

Alliey sighed in annoyance, still waiting anxiously for a free table. The stupid Italian music that played throughout the restaurant was starting to get on her nerves, and she was resisting the urge to go up to the hostess and scream "I'm ONE PERSON! One! Single! Uno! You can't find a little area of space for ONE PERSON to sit and eat? I don't care if it's a table or floor space, just get me some damn bread sticks!"
Alliey took out her cell phone to check the time. 4:56 p.m. How was a restaurant this full at this time? It was before five o'clock, for heavens sake! The normal person didn't feel like wasting their entire evening waiting for a table at a restaurant. Why were all these damned people here? It was normal that she was here. Only a sane person wouldn't wait this long. Alliey was nowhere near sane, hence the reason why she was still waiting with the annoying Italian music and the sweet smell of tomato sauce and chicken parmigiana filling her nose.
Alliey started banging her head as hard as she could without making enough noise to be noticed against the wall of the restaurant. The last thing she need was the be asked by everyone who caught sight of her if she was either A) ok, B) suicidal or C) just trying to make the number of brain cells in her head go down drastically. She sighed again out of frustration, and looked back to see how much longer the line had gotten since her arrival. When she turned, she saw something that she had not been expecting to see at all: her boyfriend, Cole, standing in back of her and looking at the ceiling. "Entertainment!" she cried, jumping up and down with excitement that someone was there with her. "What brings you here to this abnormally full restaurant?"

Cole furrowed his eyebrows when he watched Alley bang her head on the wall. He didn't think she was weird.. ok, he did.. but it was in the good way! Because he was weird too. That's why the two of them were perfect for each other. They were both two crazy people, who have known each other for a while might I add, and they have so much in common. Some people would call them Fraternal Twins, but others just call them the perfect couple. And Cole couldn't help but agree, because he thought they were perfect as well. So instead of making a face at her as she banged her head on the wall, he just smiled and tried to hold in a laugh again. And he turned his head back to the ceiling when she looked back..
But he was caught. She had noticed it was him. So he looked down at her, and he smiled. "Hey you. Uhm yeah.. guess I'm here to entertain you! And I'm here because I'm hungry.. same reason you're here, right? But this line is taking forever." He said, leaning over to one side to look passed everyone. He then straightened himself up, and he looked back down at Alliey, still smiling. "But while we wait, we could wait together. How have you been?"

"Thank you lord!" Alliey exclaimed, looking up at the ceiling to make the point that she was talking to god. "You have NO idea how tiring it is to wait here in line with absolutely nothing to do. I swear, waiting this long should be illegal. I've been standing here for an hour and a half. I mean, you'd think people would leave, but NO...
"No." Alliey said sarcastically. "I came here to massacre all the unsuspecting towns folk. SHH!" She added, putting her finger over her lips like it was some big secret. "You can help if you want. We could be the most famous mass murders in the entire world. 'The Olive Garden Killers'. I can see it now." she laughed, imagining herself and Cole in ski masks with guns killing every person they saw. It was quite entertaining to think about. "That's a good idea. I've been...." she thought about the best word, or words to describe it. "Well, the best I can be while putting up with two screaming siblings."

Cole shrugged. "Eh well, some people are just that hungry." He said, nodding. "Psht I know I am. If I had to wait an hour and a half, I would. Because I'm starving. We have absolutely no good food at the house. And I sure as hell don't want to eat old crusty Pizza. Ew, no." He said, shaking his head, and shuddering in disgust.
Cole then snickered. "Oh really? I can join? Yay! Sure I wanna join. That sounds like a good idea." He said, nodding again. He tilted his head to the side, and he raised an eyebrow. "Ahh yes. I can see it too. I think it'd be awesome. The two of us, shanking everyone in sight. sounds pretty cool." He said. He inhaled, and exhaled in a matter of seconds, and he smiled slightly. "Well, I'm here to distract you away from the crying children, ok?"

Alliey raised her eyebrows in annoyance. "People shouldn't be that hungry. It's not even dinner time yet, really!" she exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air to add emphasis on her words. She sighed for what seemed like the millionth time that night. "The only reason I'm still here is because I'm the stubbornest person I know and I really want Italian food." Alliey made a face at the thought of eating crusty pizza. "Eww. That's a mental picture I really didn't need at the moment."
Alliey laughed. "Of course it'd be awesome. It would be the funnest experience of my life. It would even be worth the life sentence or death penalty that we'd obviously get for taking so many innocent lives." Alliey laughed again. She knew that the people around her who heard her talking about killing everyone in the restaurant were probably scared for their lives now. Sometimes, Alliey scared herself. The things she thought were funny were so twisted sometimes it was just unnatural for a sane human being. "Good. Because the crying children were about to drive me more insane then I already am." Cole shrugged. "Well look at you.. you're still here. And these other people are here because they're probably stubborn too and don't wanna leave, and want Italian food, just like you do. But that is true. You are the most stubbornest person I have ever met. BUT that's why I love you so much." He said, leaning down and kissing her playfully on the nose. He then stood up straight, and he wrinkled his nose. "Sowwy. Didn't mean to uh.. give you a bad mental picture of that." He said. He thought it was odd to have a bad mental picture of crusty Pizza, but he didn't care, it was Alliey! So of course it was odd.. and that was ok.
Cole then nodded. "Yes, that would be very amusing. To see the scared looks on people's faces when we get closer to them, about ready to shank them." He said, shaking his head at himself and at that idea. Just thinking about it was amusing, and it made him laugh a little too. He tilted his head to the side as he stopped shaking his head, and he looked at Alliey. "You really are crazy, ya'know that?" He was saying it in a bad way though. He was saying it in a cute playful way. He took his finger and he softly poked her on the side, smiling as he did so. He nodded again. "Hehe, yeah they probably would. But no worries Alliey. I'm here for you!"

Alliey shrugged, allowing the fact that there may be some other people waiting in line at the restaurant who were just as hungry, if not more hungry then her. Then she laughed. “I think I’m the most stubborn person that anyone has ever met. But I guess that’s a good thing.” She added as he kissed her on the nose. It felt good to know that, even though she was the most stubborn, craziest, and one of the weirdest people she and anyone knew, he loved her anyway. She laughed when he crinkled his nose. “It’s ok… I guess I can forgive you this time. But next time may be a different story.” She said, sarcastically warning him.
“Ahh, yes.” Alliey said, sighing as she laughed. “The look on their faces when we actually do kill them will be the best, though. Because before that, your not sure if they actually are going to kill you or not. Whereas, when you actually do kill them, usually they know what’s coming next.” She squealed when he poked her side. No matter how softly or gently anyone could poke her, it always tickled, causing her to scream. It was just something weird that happened with her. She tried not to draw too much attention to herself when she squealed. “Good.” She said, smiling. “It’s nice to know that some people actually care if those kids send me to a mental hospital.”

Cole shrugged. "Eh, so what? You're cute when you're being stubborn.. well, most of the time anyways." He said, wrapping his arms around her waist and hugging her close to him. He then nodded. "Of course it's a good thing.. well, most of the time. Heh." He said, laying his chin softly on top of her head. He then tilted his head and he sighed, trying not to let out a snicker. "Ahh well. I promise it won't happen again." He said, shifting his head to where he could kiss Alliey on top of the head.
Cole lifted his head off of Alliey's, and he shook it, smiling as he did so. "Yess that will be hysterical. What would be even more fun, is if we laughed while killing them. I can just imagine it.. aiming at someone, and smiling as we pulled the trigger. And once they fall down dead, we just laugh our butts off. Hysterical!" He exclaimed, but kept it to a minimum. He then snickered as Alliey squealed, and he shrugged. "Sorry Alliey, didn't mean to make you squeal." He said, trying to stiffle a laugh. "Welll of course I care. So what should I do to entertain you?"

“Well, I guess I’ll have to be completely stubborn more often, then.” Alliey said, laughing. “If it’s possible for me to be even more stubborn, that is.” She added. She snickered. “If you think that’s a good thing, you must be even crazier then I am.” She smiled as she felt his chin rest on her head. “Good.” She said, when he promised never to give her mental pictures of crusty pizza again. “That was not a very pleasant experience.”
“Ahh, yes.” She agreed, all smiles. “And when the police came to arrest us for murder, we’d just show them how hysterical the victim looked when we killed them. They’d laugh so hard, they’re never arrest us!” She laughed as he apologized for making her squeal in public. “It’s ok. Most people forget how ticklish I am.” She said. She nodded when he said he cared. He didn’t have to tell her that; She knew he did. “Your one of the only people who does… And you’re already fulfilling your duties just by giving me someone to talk to. Congratulations, you get an A for the day.”
