Leah's eyes widened when Sadie said the words 'you' and 'maid of honor' in the same sentence. "Really, Sadie!?!??" she squealed, and hugged her sister. She couldn't contain her happiness. The visions of shopping-goodness were already floating around in her head. "Are you sure, Sadie? I really don't deserve it, after how rotten I've been to you."

"Please you're my sister, it wouldn't be right any other way. Now I have two plane tickets to California. We get to go to Rodeo Drive and do this right. All on Mama Walker's dime. You in?"

Leah shrugged. "Still, I haven't really been acting much like a sister lately. It makes me happy that you still... put up with me enough to be your maid of honor." she laughed. "I'm definitely in, as long as you want me." she stopped talking to think. "Hmm... I guess this means I'll have to talk to your new husband, huh? I'm sure he's nice.... I've just never talked to the kid before. He needs the sister's approval!" she exclaimed jokingly. She knew that even if she didn't like Jasper, she'd say she approved. Even if she didn't have this streak of niceness, Sadie was already married to him. There was nothing she could do about it now.

"Good flight leaves in an hour and I was thinking we get a couple of those new Pumpkin Lattes at Starbucks. Cute little Ethan is working and he always gives me drinks free." She said with a smile beginning to walk towards the Starbucks.

"An hour?" Leah's jaw dropped; she couldn't hide her shock. "So soon? Jeeeeeeeez." she said, shaking her head as she spoke. In all honesty, she couldn't have been more excited. Leah followed her sister in the direction of Starbucks. "Pumpkin Lattes, huh? I've never been particularly fond of the pumpkin flavor but hey, I'm feeling adventurous." she laughed and walked towards Starbucks with Sadie.

"So I was thinking... While in Cali we should hit up a few of the nessacary stores, but then go tan on the beach. I already called in sick for tomorrow. Well Jasper called in for me, I am claiming continued trama from the car running me over." Sadie smiled loving her alabi.

"Sounds good to me. I'm in desperate need of a tan. My skin looks like milk." she laughed, pulling up the sleeve of her shirt to show her extremely white arm to her sister. Leah smiled as her sister spoke of her alibi. "Brilliant. It's great that he actually does call in for you, too." she said, laughing.
"Hey, if you don't mind my asking, who's the best man?" Leah asked, curious. "I just want to know who I'll be dancing with at the reception." she smiled.

"Sam. Brought by Jamie." She said lightly as if it were normal for a traffic cone to be the best man in a wedding. As they entered the Starbucks they were greeted by the workers. Sadie ordered their drinks and like always was told it was on cute little Ethan. With a flip of her hair she let him think he had a chance and left with her drinks.

Leah laughed as Sadie told her that Sam was the best man. It was just like her sister to go all out and make a traffic cone the best man at her wedding. She shrugged. That was just Sadie. "Cool. I'm assuming he's a good dancer, then?" she asked, laughing a bit at the thought of dancing with a traffic cone.

"He's great, taught him myself." She laughed handing her sister her latte and walked out of the Starbucks.

Leah laughed and took the latte that Sadie handed her. "Great. I can't wait to dance with him. I think everyone else will be jealous of our awesome dance moves." she said, laughing and taking a sip of the latte.

Sadie sipped her drink and held a thumbs up to the barista that made the drinks. "Nothing hits the spot on a day like this more than these pumpkin things huh sis?"

Leah sipped the latte one more time to make sure of how good the drink was before she gave the person who made them her two cents. "You're right." she said, marveled at how good it was. "I never thought something pumpkin flavored could taste so good."

Sadie laughed. "Well we should head to the airport, taxi?" She asked before walking to the side of the sidewalk.

"Definitely." Leah said, nodding and smiling. She was extremely excited. What started out as a horrible day turned out to be one of her best. "Is your husband already there?"
