The park was a sancutary for the little kids; a place where people played guitars on the benches and where kids ran around screaming their heads off and having the time of their life. Many found comfort in the park. It was a local hangout, most people where there at least once a week. Howver, the reason why Leah Sparks was there was not happy one.
Leah sat on one of the swings, her head facing the ground as she kicked the woodchips around with the toe of the $200 Jimmy Choo heels she had saved up for for over a year. Her hair was hanging down in her eyes, and she didn't even care that it was a mess. Her life was miserable. This was definitely the end of the world.
The day started out perfectly; It was just like any other one. And soon, all the happiness of it came to a drastic and frightening halt. Melodie had approached her in the hallway. After a few words of "wisdom" from her, she pretty much said that 1) the only reason she was popular was because of Sadie 2) since sadie slept with jack, both of them could kiss their popularity goodbye.
Why couldn't she have been an only child? Why did her bitch of a sister have to screw up everything?

Sadie was having one of her 'punk' days. SHe looked so cute in her rockstar grey jeans with shreads in the knee, and a flashdance type black shirt, she also had black fingerless leather gloves that went about 3 inches up her wrist. To top it all off her wavy hair looked perfect with it to give her the edgy look. All of it seemed to fit her now unpopular status, best of all was that Sadie was happier than ever. Bouncing down the sidewalk she found her swing. The swing that her husband proposed to her on. Going there she sat and swung lightly. Her head was filled with so many happy thoughts that she didn't even see her sister and her misery.

Leah heard the chain of the swing next to her start to rattle, and she knew that someone else had gotten on. She turned her head slightly to the side, and, through her hair, she could see her sister swinging happily. She growled. Why was she still happy when Leah was so miserable. Leah straightened herself up, got off the swing and stomped over to straight in front of her sister. "I. Hate. You." she growled, in a voice so intimidating she wasn't sure where it came from.

"That's nice to know." Sadie said with a smile, "Although I knew that already." Continuing to swing she payed no mind to the ugly beast her sister had become.

When Sadie just smiled and continued swinging, Leah got even more pissed off then she had been before. "Do you even CARE what happened to me? Do you have the slightest comprehension as to what you have done?" she screamed, scaring some of the little kids who were playing nearby.

"Yes, I have finally given into what I am. I joined the side of the geeks freaks and losers and I've never been happier. I can be with my husband in public and I'm happy." She said lightly as if she had nothing to do with her sister's downfall.

Leah's eyes widened at her sisters statement. She squealed with anger. "I can't believe you! Do you care about anyone but yourself?"

"Let's see... I was remaining in a secret relationship with my husband just so you could remain popular. No I think I'm very selfish." Sadie snapped as she played lightly with her wedding band.

"Well, that's all down the tubes now, isn't it?" Leah asked angerily, stomping her feet on the ground. "You couldn't contain yourself to the end of the year? At least I'd have graduated by then!"

"Trust me sis, it wasn't gonig to stay secret long. Too many people already knew, I'm just happier this way. Now I don't have to sneak into the supply closet to see Jasper." Sadie said with a small smile. He was probably at their apartment cooking dinner. She rarely saw Leah anymore, now that she lived with Jasper of course.

Leah glared at her. "Fine, because the world REVOLVES around you, Sadie. As long as your happy, everyone's happy, right?" she turned away from her sister and mummbled. "I'm surprised he didn't dump you when he found out what you did."

"Our love for each other exceeds the pain of my, and his actions." She sighed, her mind went back to that day in the hospital where he saved her life. Her stupid attempt at suicide.

"I bet it wouldn't be the same if he cheated on you!" she shot back, trying to think of some way to hurt her sister the way that she had been hurt. Sure, it wasn't the same type of thing, but the pain would be equal. Why should Sadie get away with no hurt whatsoever when she was sitting there miserable?

"He did cheat on me." She said lightly. It no longer was a big deal to her, she was over it, the past is the past and she was done with that.

"Oh, I'm sure. Because geeks like him and the rest of you are wanted by the entire student body. He could have anyone he wants, I bet!" she yelled sarcastically. "Even if he did, I know you enough to know you'd through a fit and break up with him. There's no possible way he cheated on you and your still together." Leah said, sure of herself.
