Audrey skipped happily to the auditorium. Today was the day that the lovely Melodie was going to have black hair. It was driving her mad to just wait the whole day to get to the hair. She really felt pleased with herself today. She had picked up the dye, and all the eye-liner and everything she needed. Including the lipstick, and the most gothic outfit she found in her room. It was what she usually wore to events. It was an oddly tight Victorian styled top, with a leather skirt to go with it. Gigantic boots came along with it, along the belt made of metal and leather. It was lovely, and it should fit Melodie perfectly. Audrey was probably in better shape then her, it might not fit.
Her pink hair flipped by her side, and she grinned. She seemed too happy, and she got odd looks from the preps. She didn’t mind, this was the only perk she got for giving Melodie the role instead of Maria. Damn Summer & Zella & Jayden for there ideas. It was the worst they came up with. Well on Audrey’s part. They were pleased with the idea, but it took all her restraint to wait till she had Maria alone to spill the tears. They just ruined her last play in this school and for such a small thing. She should have gotten this small pleasure out of it.
As she round the auditorium she began taking off her book bags. Opening the door with her hip, she began rummaging through the bag for her outfit. As she pulled it out, the boots already hear she tossed the bag in one of the empty seats and skipped to the stage the outfit in hand. She had a spring in her step and she climbed up the small steps to the stage. She stared blankly around before she sang out, “Melodie are you here?†And she kicked her keds against the floor. She waited for a response, hoping that Melodie won’t come out in pink saying ‘This should be the main outfit’ or something of the sort.
She twirled around, and paced for a bit thinking she wasn’t here. So she kept her eyes on the door, flipping her pink hair away randomly. She was so nervous, and she had to find the hair dye in the process. She felt sick and she really didn’t want to be here alone. She needed someone to help, or a camera to insure if she died she could have a last wish or something. Who knew what Melodie would to her if there was no witnesses?
