With a heavy sigh Kylie sat down by a table. She wasn't in the least bit hungry - she simply wanted to be alone for a while. She needed some to just think. She sighed again, wondering she had gone to the cafeteria. Who in their right mind would go to a school cafeteria to be alone? Maybe she wasn't in her right mind. It sure didn't feel like it... Not since she'd seen that play last night.
Kylie was usually an analytical person - she was the one who kept her feet on the ground, the one who wasn't moved too easily. Yet last night... It all started as it normally did. For the first couple of minutes she was busy looking for and studying the dramaturgy. Oh, how the music had distracted her! It didn't seem to fit the story at all and the associations she had made it harder to follow the story. ('The dangers of using famous pieces', she had written in her notebook the same evening.) But then she realized just how well all the pieces fit together. A perfect match actually. By the end of the evening Kylie had tears in her eyes...
Now she sat here, still dazed by the emotions the play had left her with. Had any of her friends reacted the same way? she wondered.
