He laughed. "Why haven't I met this so called cousin? And the apocolypse was what would happen when I wore pink hair ties..." He rolled his eyes at the thought.
He smirked. "Yes, yes, of course. I was smart enough to get into death fights and make good friends. But yeah, not so smart to get an oh-so lovely lecture from Commander Mother about grades. Trust me, I'd rather be in a science class than listen to that..."
He laughed. "Well, sometimes single isn't always the best..." When she mentioned the ball, he looked at her. "I've heard of it. But I'm not sure if I'm going to go or not....masks aren't my thing, really...and even if I wore one, people would still know who the bloody hell I am." That fact was true.
He turned onto her street before her house came into view. He decided to park out near the sidewalk instead of in the driveway. He took the keys out of the ignition and said, "Well...we're here. Let's go in and scare little kids, shall we?"

"This so called cousin lives in New Jersey, Blaise. Which would explain why you haven't met him." she said, laughing. "You should come to New Jersey with me this year, when I got visit my mom. Then you can meet this cousin and laugh at him with me." she said, picturing herself, her mother's cousin, and Blaise in a deep, ever-subject-changing conversation.
Alliey rolled her eyes. "Please. Your "commander mother" doesn't appriciate the smart things you do in life, like your death fights and choice of best friend. It must be pretty bad if you'd rather endure science class... I should tell her how smart you are.. I'm willing to take her on."
Alliey shrugged, allowing that, and turned to face him. "Aww, c'mon! You have to come. It'll be fun!" When he said people would know who he was anyway, she couldn't contain her laughs. "Blaise, like people won't know who I am, too. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one at school with bright orange hair. But I'm still going. C'mon, we'll be the "everyone knows who we are, but we don't care" duo."
Alliey laughed as she got out of the car. "Yes. Let's." she said, running ahead to her house. She wanted to get in before the brats had a chance to call Lauren again and report her missing presence. She opened the door and shouted "HELLO BRATS!" before standing at the door to wait for Blaise to catch up. She laughed at the whining of her siblings from behind her.

He thought about it. "Hmm...I should. And when will you be visiting him, if I might ask. I have to make sure my schedule is free..... He rolled his eyes. His schedule usually included either drawing, playing computer games, or just staring at a wall for hours before deciding to paint them random colors.
He nodded. "Yes, yes. It's that bad. Trust me, failing a grade was like...killing someone to her. It's that bad. And trust me, I miss as many science classes as possible." He grinned.
He shrugged. "I guess. Going to have to find a mask and of course something to wear. I really don't think I'd wear ripped jeans, a Misfits shirt, and black Converse to the ball. And yes, the duo. We must. We'll show them how people can stick out in the crowd!"
He shook his head as he got out of the car and slammed his door shut, locking it and heading up to the front door behind her. He stood behind her, seeing nearly over her head as he looked into her house. He could see her little siblings. He put on his best evil smirk and gave them a little wave, trying to see if he could creep them out.

"Probably sometime in July. I know you have an extremely busy schedule, so I would appriciate it if you could make a little time to visit your best friends crazy cousin across the country." She added, her voice filled with sarcasm.
Alliey thought about that. "Hm.... I think I should remind that woman what a fantastical-amazing-super great son she has." she said, laughing a little. Blaise's mother wasn't exactly her favorite person. Alliey had wanted a chance to yell at her from the moment they had met, and maybe Blaise would actually allow her to this time. If she could take on a jock, she could take on his mother.
"YES!" Alliey shouted in triumph. "Now I'm not going to be the only one who every can pick out! And of course you have to find a mask and something to wear. If I'm wearing a big, fancy ball gown, your at least going to wear a tux."
Still waiting at the door, Alliey started laughing hysterically as Blaise waved to scare Hannah and Patrick. She could see their terrifyed little faces in the window. "Nice touch." she said appriciatively, waiting for him to get to the front stairs.

He nodded. "Yes, I will schedule meeting my best friend's New Jersey cousin in July and add it to my day planner." He rolled his eyes as he said it.
He laughed. "Good luck. I really wish you that. That woman is stubborn. Where do you think I got that from?" It was true; when he wanted to be, he could be extremely stubborn. He usually didn't agree to things so quickly.
He smirked. "Yeah, I know. I'll find a mask somewhere...not too hard, I hope." Usually he wouldn't go searching for masks. That just wasn't like him.
He laughed when he saw their faces in the window. He nodded, chuckling. "I know. It's my ever famous vampire/psycotic ax murder look. I've been working on it for years. Glad it works with little kids." He stood behind her, saying, "Shall we go in now, or are we supposed to stay outside...?"

Alliey grinned. "Faaaaantastic. I'll call cousin Joey later to alert him. He'll be so excited to meet a new friend." she said, rolling her eyes and laughing as she spoke.
Alliey rolled her eyes and waved him away. "Please. That woman is no match for me. I'll tear her apart faster then she can say 'Wow'. Verbally, of course." she added. She could never actually beat up Blaise's mother, but it would be fun to yell at her.
Alliey shrugged. "You can find a mask anywhere. I got mine at a thrift store. I'll bet my dad has one in the attic somewhere. He used to go to halloween parties all the time, or so I'm told. He probably has a tux you can borrow too, if you want."
"Yes, that's good to know. It seems as if you've devoted your life to making the perfect face, and you've finally perfected it." she laughed. "Oh, we can go in. I can't wait to hear their little screams of terror." she said, rubbing her hands together evilly before opening the door. "HELLO CHILDREN!" she shouted, suddenly in a cheerful mood from her siblings terror. "You remember my best friend, Blaise, don't you?" she asked them. 'Oh, I'm sure you do' she added mentally, grinning like a maniac.

He rolled his eyes. "Oh good. We wouldn't want him to be shocked when a stanger comes into his house." He laughed.
He laughed. "Very true. I give her the best of luck of dealing with you." He rolled his eyes. His mother would be shocked someone would actually stand up to her like that.
He laughed. "I'll find one. A nice, real dramatic one. Maybe one that covers more than the eyes." He thought about it. "Nah, I can get the tux. It's the damn mask that's hard."
He nodded. ''That's the truth. I used to do it to cousins, and now your siblings. Oh, will this be fun..." He smirked as she opened the door. When he got inside, he just leaned against the wall as she talked to the kids, and when she said his name, he waved the same wave he did, smirking his ever famous smile. Oh, was this fun to him.

"Oh, I doubt he'd be shocked. He'd probably be like 'Ahh. You have arrived. The little aliens in my sprite can told me that you would be arriving soon.'" She laughed.
"Oh, She'll need it, trust me. I plan on making her want to apologize to you over and over and over again for lecturing you." she said matter-of-factly.
"Hm... You could go "Phantom of the Opera" and get that mask that covers have of your face. OH! And slick your hair back! Everyone would be like "Oh my god! The Phantom has crashed the Masquerade!" She laughed, imagining that in her mind.
Alliey tried her hardest not to burst into laughter as the terror spread across her siblings faces. "Ok, we're going to go up to my room. Now, should you feel the need for anything, just knock and get me! But Blaise might answer the door." she said, throwing in that last part just to make sure the little brats would run in and start jumping on her bed. They shook their little heads stiffly, and Alliey ran up the toy and clothes covered stairs to her room. Her house was a mess; it always was. But she really didn't care; at least her room was clean.

He laughed. "Well, isn't he a laid back kind of guy?" He rolled his eyes.
He smirked. "That'd be nice. For a while. Then it'd just be really, really annoying." That it would. he would throw something at his mother if she did that.
He laughed. "Yeah...no way. You will not catch me slicking my hair back. But I have an idea for a mask. My neighbor has all these costumes and stuff. He had some really cool ones. Even some with weird beaks. I always loved those kind of masks..." He pondered that thought for a while.
As he just stood there, he could tell the kids were scared of him. Completely. As Alliey headed up the stairs, he took his time. As he walked past the kids, he stopped and said, "Just remember. Anything at all. I'll be glad to help you guys out." Laughing, he ran up the stairs. Apparently, the kids weren't too happy to hear that.
Heading to Alliey's room, he came up behind her and said, "I'm definitely coming over more often.

"Oh, yes. The most laid back guy you'll ever find." she laughed. "He's actually really cool, though. Just a little messed up in the brain area."
"Yeah, but it would be better then her lecturing you, wouldn't it? It's time for a change in life!" she said, laughing.
"Dang it!" she shouted. "That would have been so cool, too. Damn... But those beaked masks are really cool. I used one of them for Halloween once... You'll be half bird, half man! That could be your superhero identity that we were discussing earlier! Bird-Man! And you wouldn't have to go to a million different places for a mask!"
Alliey heard Blaise's words to her brother and sister from all the way up the stairs. Even though it was silent save for the sound of Blaise's laughing, she could tell that Patrick and Hannah were scared stiff. It was a nice change. Usually, they were screaming bloody murder. And Alliey had a strange feeling that they wouldn't hear a peep out of them that afternoon...
"Oh, please do. It hasn't been this quiet in here in I don't know how long."she said, laughing.

He nodded. "Yeah...well, I'd have to meet him to know, wouldn't I?"
He laughed. "Very true, very true...it would be a good change..." He thought about that one. It would be a good change.
He thought about it for a minute. "Half bird, half man....that's not a bad idea. 'The Adventures Of Bird-Man and Bird-Woman!' And guess who the lucky Bird-Woman will be?" He laughed at that.
He smiled at his job well done of scaring kids. "Then I will. It's always fun to scare the kids of America. Now, I just need to go around the world and do it to all the kids..."

"Yes, I suppose you would." she said, nodding her head in agreement.
"Yes... And you would have only me to thank. Aren't you just so lucky that I'm your best friend?" she said, giving him a cheesy smile.
"Um.... RILEY!" Alliey shouted sarcastically. "Actually, I'd rather be Bird-girl if you don't mind. All the great super heros are girls. Like Bat-Girl. Cat-Woman and Super-Woman were complete sissys."
"I think it should be a full time occupation." She said. "You should start a company and call it 'KSOA': Kid Scarers of America." she said, laughing. "And you could steal a slogan from Monsters Inc.: We scare" she paused dramatically "because we care. That'd be so cool. Disney would pay you big bucks to use that phrase."

He laughed. "Yes, I am lucky to have you as a best friend. But you're even luckier than me. Who else will have a best friend that can kill someone in less that fifteen minutes with only his fists and feet?"
He rolled his eyes. "All right. All right. Bird-girl it is." He shook his head dramatically. Some people.
He thought about that. "That's not such a bad idea. Me and you split the profits. 50-50. Then we retire at thirty and live in Florida for the rest of our lives in peace and harmony, scaring little kids as a part time job after that." He laughed. He had the whole thing planned out.

Alliey shrugged and nodded, allowing that. "That's true. No one would dare give me crap, because they know your my best friend and you'll kill them if they do... Hmm... I guess I am pretty lucky.
"YESS!" Alliey said in triumph. "I am Bird Girl! Fear my power to peck you with my bird-like beak!"
"See!" Alliey insisted. "I have some good ideas after all! And I like the sound of that... We'd make some big money... Although you'd have to do most, if not all, of the scaring... I honstley don't think that kids would be as scared of me as they would be of you... No offense" she said, laughing.[/color]

He laughed. "Exactly. Just say that to someone before they mess with you, and snap your fingers, and magically, I will be there!" Okay, now he was just getting a tad bit hyper, but oh well. That was natural him with Alliey.
He shook his head, grinning, as she spoke. "Bird-girl better relax before someone decided to try and test you out and see if you can fight as well as you can talk."
He laughed. "Yeah, yeah, I know. But hey, we give you a little eyeliner designing on your face, and you'll scare kids just as well as me! It'll all good!"
